SocketLabs is rated "Bad" with 1.5 / 5 on Trustpilot
Until an hour ago i’d have given SocketLabs 5 stars. However they have suspended our server for high spam content, when the same email has been sent out over the past 2weeks 7,000 times. They have also suspended over the weekend when no support is on until Monday afternoon as they are an American company. No weekend support despite their website stating 24/7 support. # SocketLabs Reviews 35• 1.5Email Service ProviderWrite a reviewVisit website ... Probably worse service. They offer fake 40,000 free trial. After "sending" 4000 emails I downloaded csv with all sent emails. From that csv I realize that they sent only 158! Rest were duplicates. After I downloaded that file they just close my account without valid reason!! Avoid this is SCAM! On top of that when account is close all links are broken after. So all my subscribers got email with all broken links now! I've been using it for years (due to the cost) and the only positive thing – some would say the most important – is the deliverability. Furthermore, performance has declined alarmingly, navigating within the application is a nightmare due to slowness, sessions are very short and interrupt when editing emails, leading to loss of huge amount of work, the UI/UX is horrible. I have been using Socket Labs for transactional email about a year now and email delivery has significantly improved. Only hotmail still seems to be a problem, but that may be due to my DMARC settings. And the best news: it is completely free, while still having a fully functional dashboard :-) Socketlabs is maybe not as popular as other transactional mail providers, but I am very pleased with them. The only reason that I don't give it 5 stars is that email batches of more than 100 emails are being delayed up to a couple of hours. ... SocketLabs is fairly intuitive to use. ...
